Hi, I just discovered my long lost Covey in Kansas. John Covey and wife (Nancy) Jane were in Cowley, KS, during the 1880 census. Their children were: Maggie, John, E.E., Ada, and Mattie. All children were born in Illinois. John's brother James was also in Cowley, KS. James Covey and wife Maggie. Son William.
