All I know was what I had stated, Hazel's Mother was Cora Fonda Filkins, born 5/21/1881 and died 9/1971 in Amsterdam, NY. I really do not know what my great grandfathers first name was. I think there is a son Irving Filkins or Irwin Filkins living in Amsterdam yet. That may have even been my great grandfathers first name. Sorry I can't help much. And thanks for the info on my Grandfather, George. I did know that was his mother and father. It is the Fonda/Filkins side of the family that I am having all the trouble locating.
