I have a 1850 census record for: Clinton, Clinton Co, NY (#120-123, p. 93) James COVEY 34 VT Cornelia 27 VT Charles 11 NY William 7 NY Louisa M. 5 NY Albert L. 2 NY I also have a baptism from teh Russeltown Methodist Church records: Joseph L. COVEY, s/o James COVEY and Cornelia BURGE(?), b. 7 Dec 1859, bpt 2 Sep 1860. I am placing this James COVEY as being James COVEY b. 6 April 1815, s/o James COVEY (b. c1781) and 1st wf Elizabeth? Does anyone have info to the contrary???Does anyon ehave further info on this branch?
