I would very much like to have > one. I'm interested in your Kingsbury. There is a Kingsbury who associated with my William in 1802/3, but I don't know what Kingsbury it was. It's been a while since I posted my query, so I'll post it now. Note the Munson's Day book entry that shows the Kingsbury association. Those names will be the key, I'm sure. The info is chronological, so you will find it in 1802. William would be my Wm born 1765 died 1845, and married to 1) Esther Yarns, 2) Betsey Coon (mine), and 3) Nancy Smith. The names Hope and Kingsberry prove there is *some* connection with the descendants of the 1640 immigrant, but just exactly who are these people? Since William's first son wasn't born until 1797, then these names have to be his contemporaries or elders. Are they brothers? uncles? cousins? Who is Daniel? The only Daniels in the Quist book are all born after this time period. And of course, which John, which Hope, which Joseph, which Kingsberry? I suspect the latter 3 are the sons of James & Mary (Lanphere) Covey, but where do Daniel and John fit in, and how does William fit in with the rest? Covey Entries in the day Book for the store of William Musson in the town of Butternuts, Otsego County NY (Day Book covers 7 May 1802 2 23 Feb 1803) The original book is at the public library in Butternuts, in the basement genealogy collection. The book can be looked at, but copies only from the typed extract. Spellings are as in the typed extracts. To clarify the difference between an entry being actually 1/2 versus half, when there is a fraction, I've put the fraction in [brackets]. Example for Joseph, that is one and a half yards of callico and 8/four and a half.
