I took photos of most in case I found a connection down the road. This cemetery is very close to Rockford, Winnebago Co., Ill. One that I think I am connected to is Wm. D. Covey b. 1865; his wife Eunice (1871 - 1897 and Ray 1894 - 1896. If this is the Wm. I am seeking, Eunice is his first or second wife. My g-aunt, Abigail Hamilton, might have been the third wife. The Wm. I am looking for was born Poplar Grove to Simeon Covey and Eunice Hitchcock both born NY. Am looking for descendants of Wm. D. Covey in hopes of finding out more about Abigail Hamilton. My Wm. D. died 6 June 1939 at Belvidere, IL and is buried at Poplar Grove Cemetery. He had at least 3 children: May b. 1889 & married Claud Callahan; Marhta (Mattie) b. 1891 & may have married a Frank Carlson; and Archie b. 1898.
