Covey. b. c1799. son of the infamous Samuel Covey (c1755-1822) of Fort Anne, NY who removed to Caldwell's Manor, Quebec/Alburgh, VT. Now I want to add here -- since this is through 2nd wife Jennett Currie/Curry, and not Elizabeth Gale, does anyone have further info on Jennett? I noticed that there were other CURRIES in the area of the Eastern Townships, but I have no connection. John and Jennett appear to have been living in Alburgh, VT in the 1830's, but had moved to Bombay by the 1860 census.
