Elton or Bonnie Lacey just sent out a nice listing of descendants of James Couvey, born about 1615. I have been researching this line for several years and have never run across a reference to this James (everything seems to start with the Lacey's 2nd generation). Can anyone send me the sources or references that refer to this original James? How about references to the wives - Mary Cossyne, Mary Mumford and Mary LNU? I have only seen 1 very tentative reference to Mumford as a wife, and none for the other two. Thanks for the help. Asa K. Gage (asak@aol.com)
