In an off-list post, I was asked: > You refer sometimes to a "Landphear" chart. > Do you know where I could get a copy of this? Landphear is a misnomer as it is more Covey than Lanphere, but I chose that name in my records to distinguish from other Covey stuff, and one generation of Lanphere is included. How I got a copy: My (husband's) cousin inherited a lot of misc research papers from their mutual great grandfather Edwin Andrew Covey (1865-1963) who's grandfather was the William Covey of Butternuts whom I have posted about. There was a hand-drawn chart in those papers. (There is a remote possiblity there is a copy of the chart in Salt Lake, but I can't be sure of that. If it is there, it would be in the cases that are beside the map cases on the first floor.) In this post are the pertinent parts. Obviously I can't duplicate the chart's format, so I'll just group pieces together best I can. = = = = = This chart was made by Fred M Sickler, grandson of Fred V Sickler and his wife Elizabeth Covey. Elizabeth Covey was a granddaughter of Elisha & Elizabeth Covey, both of whom were born in the year 1770 and during the year 1790 resuded in Rensselaer Co. NY.
