    3. Hi, In Washington Co., Ohio almost all the deed records have been transcribed as COREY but when you compare the names it is certain they are COVEY. I have found this to be true in many places and feel it might be the problem with loosing the early Coveys. I have never found one starting with "K" which at least keeps us in the same beginning letter but I have found the following possibilities: Corey, Coney, Couvey, Covy, Cove, Covee, Couveigh, Couve I used to write to Mrs. Quest and I think a lot of her research was based on things sent to her from other researchers, at least for the later years. I'm not sure about the early generation or two.
