    3. Thank You, It helps a lot. Bear with me as I am a rank amateur here. I didn't check all the spelling variations when I was looking at the 1790 Census. I missed Coovey! I have him in 1800 though at Johnson's Gore. I also have a second, Joseph Covey, at Windham in Windham County, as a single male 16-26. Windham is over the mountains and down the river so to speak. It's a long long way from Alburg. Very different naming patterns between Joseph and Samuel. On Samuel's side I don't think there are any David Joseph Theodore Theodosia Levi Azal Lyman Ransom or Saphroha names. They must have been distant cousins. Samuel's line has a set of names that tend to repeat. Is that so with Jeseph? I see Theodore and Theodosia are from their mother's side. There is a common Samuel though. I had Johnson's Gore in the wrong county, however I am sure that Crosburg was in Franklin county. So who is this Ebenezer Covy? Is he of Samuel Covey of Alburg of perhaps the Nathan Covey family? -----Original Message----- From: A.
