Lee, b. August 19, 1866 in Boone Co., IA, m. March 27, 1890, d. August 31, 1953. Homer Perry Covey, b. February 03, 1871 in Adair Co., MO, d. January 05, 1968. +Cora Isabel Lee, b. November 06, 1873 in Worth Co., MO, m. May 01, 1891, d. March 21, 1948. Armande and Cora were sisters, daughters of Israel Lee, b. April 28, 1838 in Coles Co., IL, d. November 30, 1908, and Sarah M. Dickerson, b. July 12, 1842 in MO, m. December 1860, d. May 09, 1881 in Worth Co., MO. The Lees, originally from NJ, were cousins to the Hunts of NJ. Martha Ellen (Patsey) Covey, b. January 27, 1818 in Knox Co., d. October 13, 1895 in Buffalo Gap, Taylor Co., TX. +Johnson Hunt, b. April 28, 1813 in KY, TN, m. February 18, 1836 in Blackwater, Saline Co., MO, d. September 5, 1895 in Buffalo Gap, Taylor Co., TX. William and Johnson were brothers, sons of James Arthur Hunt, b. c1768 in NJ Settlement, Rowan Co., NC, d. February 1827 in Saline Co., MO and Mary Jenny (Jinny) Whitaker, b. January 3, 1775 in Lexington, Rowan Co., NC, m. September 17, 1791 in Rowan Co., NC, d. 1832 in Saline Co., MO. In addition, a granddaughter of Martha and Johnson, Lydia Leteria "Cissy" Lockney, b. August 28, 1858 in Blackwater, Saline Co., MO, d. November 24, 1887 in Haskell, Haskell Co., TX, married William Lefredge Covey, b. April 8, 1855 in 5th Dist., KS, m. September 1875 in TX, d. January 29, 1940 in Amarillo, Potter Co., TX. Although I�m not descended from the Coveys, I�d like to find out more about them, specifically, if and how the above were related.
