I am interested in finding more information on a Matthew COVEY who may have been born about 1804 in New York. Potential parents are a John and Sally or Phally COVEY. Matthew married Eunice SCRIVEN in Albany, Bradford, Pennsylvania, on 31 Jan 1836. She apparently died before 1840. On the 1840 Census Matthew is a widower head of family with 2 children Walterh and Unis both born in New York about 1837-1838. This 1840 Census was in Renssalaer County, New York.
