It is interesting to note that many of Martha Burdick Covey's siblings married and moved to New York. I am looking for the Renneslaer Co. New York connection to Alpheus Covey, born about 1802 in Renneslaer Co., later marrying and moving to Scotland Co. Missouri. His father is reported to be Alpheus Covey Sr. Does anyone have any information that would connect Alpheus Covey to the Covey's in Connecticut or Rhode Island? Any information on Alpheus Covey?
