Hello, I recently found some notes that my great-aunt had wrote up for my grandmother. It has given me some more clues, but I am still unable to find any connection to my COVEY family. Here is the information, if it sounds familiar please let me know, Thanks, Shannon Stephen COVEY m. Mary JOHNSON Children: James COVEY m. Mary RODGERS Stephen COVEY Frank COVEY Melvin COVEY Elizabeth COVEY Lucina COVEY James COVEY m. Mary RODGERS Children: William Jonathon COVEY b. 1875/1879 m. Isabella SMITH 2nd m. Jesse BURGESS James COVEY Edward COVEY Emma COVEY Myrtle COVEY I know that James M. and Mary E COVEY lived in Golden Hill, Forkston, Wyoming Co, Pennsylvania in 1897. As far I as I know William and Isabella had no children. William and Jesse married in the early 1920's and had two children. William died of blood poisoning on 9 Jan 1931 at Sayre Hospital. I know that William was a carpenter and they lived in the town of Forkston, PA. He also had a home in the country somewhere outside of Forkston. I hope any of this sounds familiar to someone. Thanks again, Shannon
Hi, I checked my file for Shannon's Stephen Covey information and have a few bits to add: James M. Covey son of Stephen Covey and Mary Johnson was born 26 May 1854 in Terrytown, Bradford Co., PA. He died 28 Aug 1912 or 28 Dec 1912. He married Mary Rogers. He is buried in the New Era Methodist Church Cemetery. Their child: James Adolphus Covey was born 2 Oct 1888 in New Era, PA. Die 26 Oct 1957 Sayre, Bradford Co., PA. married Kathryn Trowbridge. Hope this helps a bit. Rita A.
