I believe I have found a connection! Stephen Covey born about 1816 NY married first to Mahala ___ and second to Mary Emily Johnson. He was the son of John Covey and Sarah ____. It appears Mahala died sometime after 1856. Stephen died 31 Jan 1900 in Terrytown, Bradford Co., PA Children from both marriages: James M. Covey b. 26 may 1854 Terrytown, Bradford Co., PA d. 28 Aug 1912 or 28 Dec 1912 New Era, Bradford Co., PA m. Mary Rogers Stephen Covey b. about 1856 Manda Covey b. about 1871 Melvin S. Covey b. about 1873 Franklin E. Covey b. about 1875 If I'm correct this will link this family up to the earliest known James Covey. I know a couple of subscribers are working on this line. I will appreciate any feedback.
