    3. Hi, I have changed to Bell Atlantic. net for my primary internet service and discontinued using America On Line. I have also opened an e-mail account with Switchboard and plan to always keep that address. This change was precipitated by a general dissatisfaction with the many problems that I associated with the use of AOL which included difficulty/inability to log on after 3:30 PM, breakdown or loss of e-mail, etc. This message is not, however, being sent to bash AOL, it is only to notify you of my new e-mail addresses. They are; Bell Atlantic.net: lb3825@bannet.net Switchboard: lb3825@iname.com ^ I will receive mail sent to either address. ^ ^ Larry Baker [formerly-LB3825@aol.com] NEW

    3. Looking for any info on several YARNES/YARNS/YEARNS who were in Broome Co (or anywhere!) in 1820 and 1830: Consider YARNS Robert YARNS Ward YARNS This family married into two or three different COVEY lines....What was the connection and where? Consider YARNS was b. c1772 NY, and appears to be living with Robert aged 50, likely a son in 1850 In 1850, the mortality list for Triangle, Broome County, included: Rosana YARNS ae 72, widow, b. NH d. March Susannah YARNS ae 67, d. July Does anyone have knowledge of these folks, or any background on them? YARNS is such a rare name, I can't find ANYONE working on this name. There were YARNS who married into COVEY numerous times, but we can't seem to find out anything about teh family. Would also like anyone with knowledge of a: Esther YARNS, b. 17 May 1767, who m. William COVEY 1781 NY Thomas YARNS (aka Harns), a Loyalist of Kingsbury, Charlotte County (Washington County), NY. He had a son Gilbert YARNS...they removed to Ontario. I'm V-e-r-y interested in this family! ? YARNS, who married Samuel COVEY, Loyalist from Fort Ann, Wash Co, NY to Quebec. She may possibly be named Susannah, or Elizabeth - (an Elizabeth COVEY died amongst Loyalists resided in Quebec in the late 1770's, while awaiting a more permanent home). ******************************************************** Pam Wood Waugh moodies@magicnet.net 730 Dunhill Dr or waughp@ocps.k12.fl.us Orlando, FL 32825 Visit my Eastern Township Research site: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Acres/3500/et.html Visit my Family Lines: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Acres/3500 Visit the WAUGH site: http://members.tripod.com/~moodies/waugh/ Desc of Samuel COVEY: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Acres/3500/covey1.html Listowner for COVEY-L, SALLS-L, TRYON-L and WAUGH-L

    3. Sue, FANTASTIC!!!!!! I'm so excited!! For you and the rest of us! For them to come up with a record that indicates his parents to be Archibald and Susan, it obviously has to be Archibald and Susanna. Thing is that while I don't have a baptism for a James, it must be! That would definitely explain the Gilbert-name connection as Gilbert Yearns Covey b. 1817 would have been a brother to your James. While the year of birth is a bit sticky, the likelihood is not. I have dau Louis b. 24 Jul 1810, and the next as Candace b. 28 Aug 1813. What might even end up being the date is Dec. 1811...! I'm just trying to figure out why he was never baptised, or at least why not with his brothers and sisters. Those baptisms are about the only records we have to their existance. We know we are mssing at least one or two children as his family was listed as a family of 11 in 1825... Too interesting! We seem to have found yet another branch to Samuel COVEY"s tree. pam At 05:42 PM 2/18/98 EST, you wrote: >Hi Pam, > >This is Sue again. My information just came from WI.
