Is there a Winton Guy Covey Jr. on this list. Or is anyone related to him. I found some Covey information that may be of interest to Descendants of Samuel Covey and Elizabeth Knap. I found them microfilmed in the LDS collection. The Smith - Riffe(sp?) collection of New River Valley Historical notes had a small collection on the Covey family. The author of about 29 pages of notes was Winton Guy Covey, Jr. Are you out there? Is anyone else interested? Scott Ferguson

Hi! I'm here. Sorry, I've been busy over the summer and another line of my tree has been pulling me away. Hope to buckle down with the cooler weather. A special "sorry" to Bev, Beverly and Beryl. I know you all have e-mailed me and I haven't responded. Soon you'll be hearing from me then maybe we can get some information exchanged. Lana
Hello, I am here, My name is Shannon Knapp and I am trying to find my Covey ancestors. The information that I have has been passes down from my great-aunt. My grandfathers name was Howard William Covey, he was born in Forkston, PA on Jan 20, 1930. His father was William Jonathon Covey, be was born in 1875/1879, and died 9 Jan 1931, in Pennsylvania he was married the first time to Isabella Smith, and then to my Great-grandmother Jesse Burgess. William's fathers name was James Covey and his mother was Mary Rodgers (or Rogers). James' parrents were Steven Covey and Mary Johnson. This is all the information that I have. It is believed in my family that one of the great-grandmothers was Native American. If anyone has any information on this line please let me know. Thanks, Shannon
How about doing a roll call to see if this line is still alive?
Does anyone know the e-mail address of Robert Stencil, old e-mail was VHSS55A@prodigy.net. I have a crash, and lost my e-mail addresses, Have found many of them, but not Roberts. Also, my Covey information is on my new site at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~berylorr/. I want to say to everyone, that I realize that this information may have many incorrect entries. I am hoping that if any of you have proof that any of my entries are incorrect or correct, you will let me know. As many of my Covey cousins know, I am fairly new at this genealogy thing, but I am trying to learn how to do it correctly. Again, if you see something wrong, I would appreciate you letting me know. Hello, I checked my data base and I don't have anything on Byron. I don't have as much on more recent people. However, I'll do a little checking and get back to you. Rita and "Covey Cousins"
