When I used to operate an electronic repair business, I had a customer on Oak Leaf Road. I repaired his TV. Not sure how Dell is related to the Covey's but I think you probably are correct. Didn't know about "Devil Sam." You're teaching me! I do know about the famous Athens' Murals. At the moment I believe the future of these wonderful murals are being threatened. I am a native of Huntingdon Co., Quebec, not of Leeds & Grenville Co., Ont. If I get a chance to talk to the Lawson's again I will relay your message about George. Do you wish the e-mail address of Del McKay? Like you & Pam, I am beginning to believe that Samuel B. Covey might be the grandson of Samuel Covey & Pamela Burr & also the son of John Burr Covey & Janet. Calvin

R. Lawson believes that the Syracuse Covey's crossed into Canada in the Rockport, ON area. OLIVE3 COVEY (DELBERT2, SAMUEL1) was born January 13, 1922 in Charleston Village Ontario, and died October 27, 1989 in Hotel Dieu Kingston. She married FERMAN LAWSON. The other Samuel Covey, descendent of our Vermont/Quebec Samuel Covey, was a cheese maker that had ties to Sherbrooke, QC. Don't have anything more that you have on your web site concerning John Burr Covey. Calvin

Okay, folks -- got a phone call from a someone trying to help out a Joseph COVEY researcher. I know that recently there was a great deal of info on this family placed somewhere -- was it in COVEY Cousins? I have dug through piles of papers and can not find it. He is trying to help an elderly woman who is desperately trying to find where Joseph and Theodosia are buried in VT. Do we have death dates on them? Cemetery? Rita, if you are the one with the info, feel free to contact this gentleman directly. He's not really into genealogy, but is trying to help a friend's grandmother. Any others out there researching this line, I'm sure he would like to hear from you -- you don't need to go through me! ;-) His address is stranger552@aol.com I told him I would try to e-mail him or call him this weekend but since it is already 2 PM Monday -- I don't think I'm going to come up with anything for him. ************************************************** Pam Wood Waugh waughp@yahoo.com 730 Dunhill Dr or pam@woodwaugh.com Orlando, FL 32825 Quebec GenWeb Eastern Townships Research site: http://www.geocities.com/waughp/et.html Family Lines: http://www.geocities.com/waughp/ Listowner for CLOER-L, COVEY-L, SALLS-L, TRYON-L, WAUGH-L, YARNES-L and QC-ETANGLO-L
