Hi, I'm actually returning to the list after many years. My last Covey ancestor was Mary Elizabeth Covey who married George Bradford Carpenter. Did you or someone in your Covey Family have a relative who went by the name or nick name of "BUD COVEY"?? I have a picture of him and his wife with their children, 4 young boys and a young girl and a small baby. All the boys are in suits, the girl has on a pinafore dress and blouse. Call # 974.773 CHE. None of these people are my relatives. Head of page has the following "Marriages - Afton - 1875 Census cont." William Fisher, 25, was married on Nov 19, 1874 to Josephine COVEY, 18, at Bennettsville, Chenango Co., NY. Baptist. On another page it lists this marriage as: William H. Fisher, 24, was married on Nov 19, 1874 to Josephine COVEY, 18, at Bainbridge, Baptist.(See Afton marriages) Births in 1850: Mar 29, 1850, Mary Jane COVEY, Parents: Albert S. & Mariette COVEY Births in 1851: Sep 13, 1851, Hannah C.
