Died at Ottawa on Saturday January 4, 2003, aged 83 years after 63 years of religious life. Daughter of the late Elie Cousineau and Mathilda Leduc. Born at Orleans, Ontario, she entered religious life August 2, 1937 and pronounced her first religious vows July 16, 1939. Survived byher relgious family; her sisters, Germaine, Marie-Laure; her brothers, Jean, Brother Gaston OMI; sister-in-law Cecile Gariepy, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by four brothers, Ernest, Robert, Gilles and Donat and 2 sisters Simone and Therese. Resting at the Motherhouse, 9 Bruyere Street, Ottawa at 2 o'clock on Monday January 6, 2003. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the chapel of the Motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa, Tuesday, January 7th at 1:30 p.m. followed by interment at Notre- Dame Cemetery, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, the Sisters suggest the offering of a ma! ss for the repose of her soul, or a donation to the charity of your choice. Published January 6, 2003 in The Ottawa Citizen
