Just like you all, I have a Cousino(eau) in my family. The Cousino(eau) is an Alexis Cousineau(o) who was married to a Victoria Reau (Raoult). and from these two people my line goes then goes from these people to their daughter, Elizabeth (Libby) Cousino who married a Maxim LaVoy. Their daughter, who was my grandmother was a Freida LaVoy who married a Bernard Gillenkirk. Does anyone have any proof like birth certs, etc, for these people that they might be able to get copies offor me? Philip's parents were Achan Cousineau and Josephine Sears. The witnesses were Timothy Kelley and Adelina Cousineau, both from Wilson Twsp., Alpena Co., MI. Any help will be appreciated.

They married about 1866 in Wisconsin, and had 3 sons John, George, and Roland. Went to Josephine County, Oregon around 1890, twins were born there, Floyd and a girl, in 1892. Floyd later moved to Eureka, California. John and George apparently stayed in Oregon. I think John's wife was Luella. Mary's mother Sophia Huot lived with the family and went to Oregon with them. I am descended from Mary's brother Francis Huot. I am repeating this posting because I noticed that my earlier one doesn't come up in any of the keyword searches and I'm hoping this one will, so that someone with similar intersts can find it!

I have been lucky so far to find some ancestors locally, in Muskegon MI, but Lucy's death record showed no parents. Lucy Cousineau and John Shanty are her great grandparents through Jeanette Shanty and Willis Larabee. Did Lucy come to Muskegon with her parents?
