Hi; I have been very successful in researching my family back to the 1700s in Castlelyons (civil parish of Mogeely). Mogeely is now part of the Catholic parish of Conna. Before that I can make an educated guess as to where they come from. If I wrote they stepped off an alien spaceship in the 1700s, that would be an accurate description of what my research has concluded. David N.
