    3. Hi Jeannine, I'd love to hear about your Geary line. I have an Owen Geary in Kildorrery. Originally I looked at the Gearys from Gortnaskehy. To date I have not been able to get before Owen Geary of Kildorrery , listed in Griffiths. Thanks, Eileen Sullivan Geary, Fleming, Brassil, Fraher

    3. Hi Eileen - My gggrandfather, Michael Geary, born c. 1800 also had a brother, Roger Geary, born 1803, both born in Gortnaskehy. As I recall there is an Owen Geary listed in Gortnaskehy in the Griffith or pre Griffith. A chart recently sent to me by my cousin in Dublin also shows an Owen Geary. I have emailed him to determine if Owen is a brother of Michael and Roger. Owen Geary is in our line. Eugene Geary of Gortnaskehy/Kilworth area assisted me in my research some years ago and his ancestor is Owen Geary. What time period is your Owen Geary?
