    3. I have a Timothy Mulcahy in my research he was son of John b 1811 and Ellen (Cosgrave) b 1810 that was the brother of my great grandfather. They immigrated to the States in the 1850's and settled in the Pennsylvania area. They were from county cork. He and his siblings were baptized in a place called Rathcormac I am unsure of its location. Timothy's brother William married Mary Cronin and they had 8 children including my grandfather. I have very little info from Ireland but, if you have questions about what I have let me know. To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>, [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed The Mulcahy ( Nora) family I am related to lived in Boherbue/Kanturk area of West Co. Cork at least from early 1800's to 1880's. In 1804 Denis Mulcahy was baptized ( parents name unknown) in Boherbue, he married Julia Cronin approx. 1833, they had 2 sons, Denis born 1834 and John born 1835. In over 40 years, I have only been able to follow the line of Denis, and have no info as to John the brother, who may have lived in Mallow- Ballyhooley area as a adult. There were few Mulcahys in this area between Boherbue and Bally hooley, more of them from Cork City, and S, and scattered all over cork as shown by Griffiths. I would try to trace thru the Griffith info if possible for any Mulcahys, if you haven't done so already. Films available at any FHC. The only Timothy Mulcahy I can think of as related would be a cousins uncle in San Francisco area of Ca., who may still be alive. Would have been born between 1890-1910. Sorry I cannot be of more help, but if you get anymore info on family I would be interested to know. Good luck. ------------------------------ To contact the COUNTYCORK list administrator, send an email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.
