I am coming to Cork next month for a holiday & to do some research. I would appreciate some advice from the 'old hands' of County Cork research. The names I am looking for are Michael STAUNTON Julia STAUNTON Edmund MAGUIRE Maria MAGUIRE parental information from a Catholic marriage register on the marriage of Michael Maguire & Mary Staunton. The parents were resident in Queenstown about 1851 ish. The marriage took place in Portsmouth, Hants & Michael was in the Royal Navy. I have no further details, unfortunately.
