I didn't have any problem in accessing the website through the original link that was sent, so I was able to do my own search. Unfortunately (but not unexpectedly) there was nothing in the census fragments to help me, but I have still found it interesting to receive the emails regarding other peoples' searches, and who knows, maybe someday I will find out that my line is connected in some way! So I don't find the emails a problem at all. On the contrary, I find it admirable that you have been willing to assist so many. We are also adding a lot of information to the archives for future researchers. It doesn't seem to me that anyone's mailbox is being overwhelmed with this number of requests and it seems as though in the process we may have generated a couple of connections and isn't that what these lists are all about. I know it is because of one of these lists I made significant headway into my Cork ancestors with the help of a gentleman from Cork who decided to shine his generosity on me based on a posting I made to a list. Doing these type of lookups is a very minor way for me to pay him back for the generosity and kindness he showed me. I only wish I had more positive answers for everyone. I hope no one is upset about these requests and can see the benefit of the lookups. We are all here to help each other after all.
