Kay, I'm interested in your Barrys. Is it possible they may have been in Kildorrery, not far from Mitchelstown. I'm interested in John Barry, 1807-1885, John 1845-1892, both died Co. Cork, and brothers James J. Barry abt 1850 came to the San Francisco area and Patrick Barry abt 1837-38, from Kildorrery went to Brisbane, Australia. The Barrys that stayed there ended up in Charleville. Have not been able to connect James and Patrick to the first John Barry. The Heritage Centre had nothing on my Barrys except for some cousins born in Kildorrery.
