My ggggrandfather was Luke Crowley, born before 1780 in Ireland. He was married to Mary Collins also born before 1780 in Ireland. They both died in Ireland. I only know of one child born to this marriage. My gggrandfather Timothy Crowley was born in Kilrush, Parish of Desertserges, Co. Cork in 1780. He married Ellen Hurley. Timothy died in Michigan in 1862. I have no record of Ellen coming to the US or of her death. Children born to Timothy and Ellen were: Joan, b 6/16/1814, Ballymodan (no further info) John, b 1815, Lissaphooka, Ballymodan (came to US in 1840's died in 1850 in Michigan) Jeremiah, b 6/24/1819, Bandon, Ballymodan (came to US in 1840, d in MI in 1913) My ggrandfather. Daniel, b March 1821, Bandon, Ballymodan (came to US in 1842, d in MI in 1901) Mary, b 12/03/1824, Bandon, Ballymodan (no further info) Timothy 8/12/1825, Bandon, Ballymodan (no further info) Jeremiah, b 11/17/1827, Bandon, Ballymodan (no further info) Margaret, b 2/05/1829, Bandon, Ballymodan (came to US before 1850, married Patrick Burke from Kilkenny, Carlow in Michigan in 1848. She died 1/23/1883. Bartholomew (Bat), b 5/21/1831, Bandon, Ballymodan (no further info) Florence(Floce) male b 1/12/1832, Bandon, Ballymodan (no further info) Timothy b 4/02/1834, Bandon, Ballymodan ( No further info) It would be reasonable to assume that the first Timothy(1825) and Florence(1832) did not survive long because their birthdates indicate prematurity.
