Those records do exist however - they have been filmed and should be available for viewing in person at the National Library (NLI) in Dublin. Hi Jane - according to their website they do not have the film of parish records. Perhaps you could contact them to clarify as I understood they actually did much of the filming of RC records in Ireland.
