Any suggestions or advice on how to go about finding my gr-grandmother's family? She has such an ordinary Irish name and I do not know what Parish she came from ... only that she arrived in the USA around 1855 (I think I've found her on a passenger list). Her parents were Michael and Catherine O'DONNELL. Tradition says she came from County Cork! Not much to go on but I'd truly like to find her and have no records to go by before her NY City arrival. We figure she was born in 1837 or 1838. Will appreciate any help!
