I'm seeking relatives/family of John @ Patrick Leahy.Both born in Schull Co.Cork.The elder of the brothers was born in 1854 @ arrived in Q'LD (Brisbane) in 1874.Married Annie Colbert in Thargomindah @ fathered one son @ six daughters.Successful grazier,business man ,also member of parliament .MLA for Bulloo.Died 20 Jan 1909 @ buried in Toowong Cemetery. Patrick James was born in 1860 @ like his brother was educated at the Schull National School. He arrived in Q'ld in 1887.HE also married in Thargomindah and fathered two sons @ three daughters.Patrick was a reporter for the Courier @ he established the Thargomindah Herald @ other publications.He was also into grazing @ followered John into politics becoming the MLA for Warrego.His wife was Alice Costello.Patrick lived in the Brisbane suburb of Clayfield @ he died 13 Oct1927.
