    3. The following is an index entry to WO97 British Army: Soldiers' Discharge Papers at the Public Record Office, Kew, near London. WO 97/592/62 JEREMIAH DE COURSEY Born BANDON, Cork Served in 17th Foot Regiment; 44th Foot Regiment Discharged aged 46 1819-1843 (The date range is an indication of the span of the record and thus his period of service; so if he was discharged in 1843 at age 46 his approx yob would be 1797). Only the index entry is available online. To get the record you will need to pay a personal visit or hire a researcher to do so for you. You can find out more at http://catalogue.pro.gov.uk/ Regards, Donnacha ----- Original Message ----- From: <PegiAne@aol.com> To: <CountyCork-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, June 02, 2002 4:18 PM Subject: [Cork] DeCourcey researchers? > Hi Listers, thought I might repost in the off chance someone has connections > to or info concerning the DECOURCEY surname.
