For the past twenty-four years, I've searched without success for any clues to the origins of my 4g-grandfather John KNOX. He was b. ca. 1724, place unknown; m.(1) unknown; m.(2) Mary SALTER 19 Nov 1778 at Windsor, Nova Scotia; was planter w/wife, 1 child, log cabin, 6 acres land at Grimross Neck (Gagetown, New Brunswick) in June 1783 before Loyalists arrived; His will dtd. 21 Jun 1816, proved 3 Dec 1819.
