    3. Message text written by INTERNET:CountyCork-L@rootsweb.com >Hello, I am researching Kanturk and looking up the name O'callaghan from Kanturk. The last time I have found them was in 1900. Ellen O'Callaghan was born in 1900 to Thomas and Margaret\Maggie . Maggie died afew months later in 1900. Thomas remarried Annie Donoghue, Ellen told me that they had other children but I cannot find any as yet. Ellen died in 1988 after being in Australia for about 60 years. On her birth certificate she was born in Kanturk, and her parents were married in Kanturk. Maggie came from a town called , Knockaneroe. The names I have are John, Cornelius, Daniel and Hanoria, All were O'Callaghan. Any info on these areas or names would be appreciated. Also is there any way of searching the 1901 census. In 1900 Thomas was living in Main St, Kanturk and Margaret would have been 1 year old in 1901 as she was born on 25 march 1900. Thankyou Deborah< Yes, you may rent reels of the 1901 census at your FHC. It is indexed also so look for those reels. Does any reader know if the index is on a cd? You can see what is available by going to Familysearch.com and looking under library catalog. I am guilty of this too, but remember to insert Returns at the end of each screen as you type because otherwise the incoming messages are one long long long line for many of us. Thanks.
