I don't think there are any "silly or stupid" question ever posted on the lists, this is how we all share and learn together, and hopefully help each other to find those elusive ancestors. I know I have been helped so much by other folks in my search for my family, and without them would never have discovered that the little town of Allihies on the Beara Peninsula is where my ancestors lived and died.
