    3. Pat I think a broader use of the list would be appreciated. I note that the list owner has strict rules about what is to be posted however I also note as you have that hardly anyone is posting anything. There may be a thousand subscribers to this list but as a number of listers feel uncomfortable posting a notice in case of being growled at then there may as well be no listers. I have really enjoyed your postings and more contact between Cork listers would be wonderful. Merry Christmas to all. Lyons and Sullivan researcher, Fermoy, Kilworth, Mitchelstown. 3. Hi All, I have to agree with Pat and Gay. Especially as I am also researching the names Lyons, Leary and O'Leary many of whom finished up in SF, CAL. and other states in the USA. I am currently chasing obits in both Ireland and USA for all of these names, and am subscribed to many USA mailing lists with mixed success. How wonderful if we could use this list for an exchange of information along these lines. The USA lists seem to be just as active as usual, but this is the first Co. Cork posting I have received in several days. In fact this list has been very quiet, and getting quieter, over the past few months. I have often wondered if we have any subscribers who actually live in Ireland? And Gay, if you think you have it hot in WA, you should be here in Townsville! Wow! A very Happy and Safe Christmas to all.
