The most likely candidate for Ardnaclugg would be the townland of Ardnaclug, in Inishannon civil parish, less than a mile due west of Inishannon town (and 3 miles NE of Bandon town). I tried to find someplace in that general area which looked like Toonadrooma - but there are no townlands or parishes or baronies or PLUs in the county of Cork which start with "T" and look anything like Toonadrooma or Tooradrooma or Turradroma or............ But I decided to stretch the Ardnaclugg a bit - to Ardnacloghy - just in case. There is a small townland of Ardnacloghy in Carrigaline civil parish and just a mile NW of the town of Carrigaline. And there's another Ardnacloghy way out west in Kilmocomoge civil parish, about 2 miles SW of Kealkill "town", along the R 584 and about 4 miles NNE of Bantry town. But nothing resembling Toonadrooma in those areas, either. That's all I have - unless we can get a significantly different "reading" of that townland's name. Sorry. By the way, I searched the counties adjacent to Cork, also. Nothing there either. Nor on Google. Pete Schermerhorn, in the glorious Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts
