Hi Michael, The 1901 Irish Census is not indexed by surname. The first step is to establish exactly where your grandfather was born. With the information you have it should be possible to get his Birth Cert from Joyce House in Dublin. Bear in mind that a birth on December 25 probably would not be registered until January 1896. I have a slot booked tomorrow at our local Family History Centre and I will check Irish Birth Index for you. Once you establish an address for Neil.W. BOYLE I can then check the 1901 Census for him.
