Wendy, The story goes that our CAVANAGH/CAVANAUGH relatives resided in Cork for some time before leaving for the US. This would have been in the late 1840's to mid 1850's. The family of BRYAN CAVANAGH was originally from Kilkenney. His wife was Mary HART or COLLINS. They had three daughters: Catherine, Julia, and Mary. They are a difficult family to trace, so it would be great if you recognized these names or that someone else would. Good luck with your research.
