Go to www.yahoo.com and type in "KILLEENS CEMETERY, MALLOW" without the quotes. You should get three URLS back. Select the first one that will show you that the Mallow Heritage Center counts the Cemetery inscriptions of Killen among their records available for research through them. The second one contains a recent obituary for someone buried in Kileens in St. Catherine's Cemetery. The third one contains a copy of "The Archives." If you go down several pages you will find a mention of Kileens and also an ancient cemetery there that is hitched to St. Catherine's Church, a medieval ruin from the past. Not sure of this is any help, but perhaps you will locate an inscription for an ancestor by contacting Mallow Heritage Center. On the other hand, I have explored more than a few such old cemeteries in West Cork and found severe weathering and erosion to be the norm rather than the exception.
