Townland Index (1837) Indicates that Carrigadrohid Townland was in Cork, W.R., Barony of W. Muskerry, Parish of Aghinagh, Poor Law Union of Macroom. This would be the CIVIL PArish of course. I don't know the Roman Catholic Church Parish for that area. You could do a couple of things, namely, write to the Mallow Heritage Centre, 27/28 Bank Place, Mallow, County Cork to see if they cover the Macroom area or, secondly, write to the Parish Priest, Roman Catholic Church, Macroom, County Cork, the shotgun approach. The Heritage Centre approach wiuld be the best avenue. You only have to give them the data from the Townland Index and anything else you have. They have always provided me with excellent service.
