Hi everyone, I am looking for O'REGAN, TIMOTHY. Our story begins with a TIMOTHY O'REGAN who was born in Ireland about 1841. His parents were TIMOTHY O'REGAN and KATHERINE BURNS. I believe they came from Cork but I have not been able to prove this. TIMOTHY obviously had a education as he was able to read and wrote with a very fine hand. On 9th March 1861 TIMOTHY O'REGAN sailed from Liverpool England, aboard the ship the "Prince Consort" which was 1235 tons, she carried 124 adults and 23 children. The Captain was Robert Jones and after 113 days at sea they arrived in Melbourne Australia. Timothy may have come from Clonakilty area. I was never sure when the family spoke about Cork, whether they meant the County or Cork itself. Any help would be much appreciated. Katherine O'Regan
