I'm really hoping that someone can help me with my County Cork Hennessy family roots: James Hennessy (Father's name might be Timothy, William or James). B: 1832 County Cork M: Abt 1850 to SARAH MARTIN D: Feb 1888 Chicago, Illinois I don't know if he came to the US as a small child, with his family, or as a young man with his bride, Sarah Martin. Apparently, came to Chicago via Liverpool and Philadelphia. He is first listed in Chicago in 1855, and lived there until his death in 1888. Children: William B: 1856; Ella A B: 1859; Catherine L B: 1862; Joseph H B: 1863; Francis G B: 1865; John W B: 1867; Margaret Mary B: 1868 (my grandmother); Sarah C B: 1871; James Edmund B: 1874.
