I think it could be a massive spelling/reading problem - or even mis-hearing. The first part of the placename is undoubtedly "Tooreen". There are 36 of those in Co. Cork starting with Tooreen or called only Tooreen alone, and I'll have to admit that I don't see a single one of them which has an ending that looks anything like "drummond". There is a Tooreen Donnell. I would guess that the townland might be known locally as Tooreen Drummond or Tooreennadrummond/Tooreenadrummond, and is one of the "plain" Tooreen townlands with the Drummond surname added to identify the portion of the actual Tooreen townland inhabited or owned by the Drummond family. But this name is not recognized as an "official" townland. There are 10 of the plain-variety Tooreen townlands in Co. Cork which might be informally subdivided in this manner. If I get a chance, I'll try to locate these ten Tooreens, and see if - by chance - the Drummond name might appear on the Townland Index maps. But I'm not optimistic.
