Greetings, I am new to the list. My Margaret Connor was born 1878 perhaps in County Cork. She had an older sister but her name is unknown and she married Robert J. McDonnell. Margaret married Robert J. McDonnell about 1900 either in Ireland or in Philadelphia, Penn. after her older sister died. The story has it that Margaret was sent for from Ireland, to be a nanny to her sister's children. I do not know the names of Margaret's Parents, but Robert J. McDonnell's father was Robert J. McDonnell born in either Ireland, or Scotland. I have seen it mentioned that Margaret was born in Wexford-Leinster, Erie Province, but grandchildren state County Cork. Any suggestions ?
