I am researching the above names which originated from either Tipperary or Cork. The people I am looking for are Michael MAHONEY, son of William MAHONEY and Catherine DUNN was born about 1854 and married Bridget HEFFERMAN about 1871. Bridget was boun about 1851 and was the daughter of Michael HEFFERMAN and Catherine RYAN. They had a number of children before leaving for Queensland in the 1880s.
