Listers I am going to visit Cork in May this year and would like to stay in my ancestors home towns Mitchelstown and Kilworth. I am looking for Lyons and Sullivans from the 1830's-1850's. I have my research as compiled by the Mallow Heritage Center and now would like to visit the graveyards associated with the area. My family lived in Macroney Upper(I think that is the spelling). Does anyone know the area and could advise me on library facilities for further local research, also recomendations of a nice bed and breakfast and where exactly I might find the graveyards. If someone has a ancestor from the region let me know I have a digital camera and could take some pictures or make notes.
