It is important you mention the scale of the map you are recommending. I made the mistake of getting a 1inch to 3 mile (1/210,000) Ordnance map, which is really too small for genealogical purposes, as it does not show small hamlets, churches and many castles. I believe the Discovery Maps is to approximately one inch to a mile (1/50,000) which is a much better scale.
