Dear James According to the 1999 Church Directory for the Diocese of Cork and Ross the following churches are named after St Joseph in Cork City and environs: St Josephs-Blackrock Road: tel 0214293325 St Josephs-Springhill, Glanmire tel 021-4866078 St Josephs Little Island tel 021-4353177 St Josephs Mayfield tel 021-4503531 St Josephs Church, Wilton 021-4341362 Sorry if this adds to the confusion as to where to go for your research. To add to your troubles I have a feeling that th Blackrock and Wilton churches may have limited records as these churches belong to Religious orders rather than the Diocese and for many years did not carry out Baptisms, Marriages etc. ----- Original Message ----- From: "james cawston" <jcawston@mindspring.com> To: <CountyCork-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 16, 2002 1:14 PM Subject: [Cork] Two St. Joseph's Church ?-Cork City > Are there two Saint Joseph's Catholic Churches in Cork city? > > I have sent a letter requesting a baptismal certificate for my father to St .
