Griffith's gives names which are in my ancestral lines in the townlands of Ballymadog and Clonpriest West. >> Peggy, Both of your townlands are located in Clonpriest parish, and are about 4 miles SW of Youghal, about as far east as you can go in Co. Cork. They are adjacent townlands, on the north bank of the Womanagh River, which empties into Youghal Bay, and are right alongside the R 633 out of Youghal. Discovery map 81 shows the townlands, and a ruined (probably old parish) church in the next townland of Clonpriest East. You might want to pick up that map before you leave, or at the aiport on your arrival. Pete Schermerhorn, in the glorious Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts
